I was invited to attend the new photography exhibition which runs at The museum of the Jewellery Quarter from November 9th until January 29th.
Organised by Birmingham Museums Trust , Brumpic, Instagramers of Birmingham and supported by Trevor Beattie and The Jack And Ada Beattie Foundation, The exhibition has 25 photos on display and some digital images which will only be available to view for the first week of the display.
The overall winner was Sam McAuliffe who took the above photo of the Cube reflecting in the canal. I’m so glad I didn’t have to pick a winner, as all of the photos had their own charm.
Whilst the exhibition is free to visit, images are available to buy and I do believe postcards will also be available.
The photos capture various scenes of Birmingham, be that of its streets, iconic buildings or people. The one thing that ties them all together is that they all succeed in capturing the beauty of my beloved home city.
